Here is the thing, I need to get a video feed coming in via a RCA cable. Now I need to have access to the video feed (the frames). I have a tv tuner card with a video in.

Question is does anyone have any experience with getting the feed from the video card input (or program) to your program sad.gif

You card should come with drivers that create a video capture device on your system (a virtual, software device). Any video capture/compositing/manipulation software will pick this up and allow you to record, watch, preview, etc the stream.

Audio is usually handled separately and mixed in with the video at compression time.

Nope. Never done any coding with video streams. I'd presume their is a library out there somewhere.
