Hey Guy's!

I bizzy making a web-page just to see if i can (maybe redo the Company's Page), using the companies Dreamweaver MX

Now what i want to do is change the color of the scrollbars in IE, according to what i could find on Google Dreamweaver self doesn't support this (YET), so i would like to know how i can do it in the actual HTML code?

Anybody know how i can do this?

Hey

Use a stylesheet for this.

Have a new file style.css for example

BODY
{
FONT-SIZE: 8pt;
COLOR: #000000;
FONT-FAMILY: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
SCROLLBAR-FACE-COLOR: #F5F7F8
SCROLLBAR-HIGHLIGHT-COLOR: #F5F7F8;
SCROLLBAR-SHADOW-COLOR: #F5F7F8;
SCROLLBAR-ARROW-COLOR: #000000;
SCROLLBAR-BASE-COLOR: #91C7D3;
SCROLLBAR-3D-LIGHT-COLOR: #F5F7F8;
SCROLLBAR-DARK-SHADOW-COLOR: #91C7D3;
}

Saving that in your stylesheet will change the scrollbar colour, as you can see there are many other options in there. You can have format for tables, links etc etc. Do a google search for some examples.

All you will need in your html file is:
<LINK REL="stylesheet" HREF="style.css" TYPE="TEXT/CSS">
Put that between your <head> tags

Give me a shout if you need more help on this

Cheers

*edit* dunno if that code works in other browsers though, works for IE

You can also go and have a look on the Dreamweaver exchange, there is a extension that does this.

cheers
