Does anyone know where windows xp stores its network settings like ip address, ipx/spx, if netbios is enabled or not, etc. ? I want to write a program to change those settings via the program itself. So if anyone can help...please!! It would be appreciated!!

HGi

you can have a look at this registry key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces

hopes this helps, or just do a search for your IP address in the registry

Thanks! But I found out that you can basically do what you want with a utility in the system32 directory called netsh.exe. With it you can change every network setting possible!
